Land Instruments has introduced a compact portable flue gas analyser, Lancom 4, which can monitor up to nine different gases and 17 measurement parameters.
The analyser supports USB communication and weighs 6 kg. It is housed in a single, robust enclosure for ease of use and reliability in harsh boiler and stack environments. The unit provides high accuracy analysis of combustion efficiency and monitoring of emissions in boiler servicing, power generation, cement kilns, paper mills, glass manufacturing, municipal waste incineration, oil and gas pipelines and refineries. The analyser has a widescreen, high-colour display and it also supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Chinese.
A wide range of sample probe types and lengths and an advanced sample conditioning system assures high accuracy and 0.1 ppm measurement resolution. Dual rechargeable batteries provide up to 8 h of continuous use.
