AlphaPAT is a portable appliance tester that tests leakage in single- and three-phase electrical appliances to verify their electrical safety.
The tester conducts 250 and 500 V insulation tests; earth bond tests at 100 mA, 10 A and 25 A; full leakage tests; load tests; and polarity tests.
The instrument stores results internally and facilitates downloading to PCs, is RFID and bar code capable and provides a 3-digit shortcut code and custom menu with onboard help, as well as an operator safety lockout.
The system is supplied as a comprehensive kit in a water-resistant carry bag that includes tester, thermal vinyl label printer, seven differently coloured tear-resistant tags, bar code scanner and software to manage downloads and printing.
