The Han connector product range manufactured by Harting has been extended to include a hybrid RJ45 and power connector and a standard LC fibre optic connector, in singlemode and multimode formats, to meet the demands of harsh outdoor environments.
The hybrid variant combines data and power in one connector for convenient installation and maintenance in outdoor applications such as FTTA (fibre to the antenna), FTTH (fibre to the home) or WiMAX, where reliable long-term outdoor connectivity is needed.
The robust optical fibre interfaces offer vibration protection and IP67/65 rating as standard, while the power solutions and data connectors offer IP20 protection rating.
