The Omicron CPC 100 primary test set is a compact, lightweight instrument capable of testing a wide range of substation equipment, automatically creating customised reports.

It allows for automated testing of power transformers, CTs, VTs and resistance testing. Providing up to 800 A (or 2000 A with current booster) and 2000 V, it comes complete with an integrated PC allowing for automated testing and reporting.

The CPC 100 and the CPTD1 tangent delta unit combine together to become an advanced test system; the patented CPC 100 is the main control unit for the test system and the CPTD1 unit is used for diagnostic testing of insulation conditions.

Features include:

  • One test unit for multiple applications;
  • Automated testing and reporting;
  • Safety features;
  • Testing of unconventional equipment, such as Rogowski coils and current sensors;
  • Measure resistance from mohm to kohm.
